01For glad tidings, halal sustenance, and protection from harm
اللَّهُمَّ بَشِّرْنِي بِمَا يَسُرُّنِي، وَكُفَّ عَنِّي مَا يَضُرُّنِي، وَثَبِّتْ يَقِينِي، وَارْزُقْنِي رِزْقًا حَلَالًا يَكْفِينِي، وَأَبْعِدْ عَنِّي كُلَّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِينِي، اللَّهُمَّ آمِين
Allahumma bashshirni bima yasurruni, wa kuff 'anni ma yadurruni, wa thabbit yaqini, warzuqni rizqan halalan yakfini, wa ab'id 'anni kulla shay'in yu'dhini, Allahumma amin
“O Allah, give me glad tidings of what brings me joy, protect me from what harms me, strengthen my certainty, grant me halal provision that suffices me, and keep away from me everything that hurts me. O Allah, ameen.”
02Sayyid al-Istighfar (Master of Seeking Forgiveness)
Bukhariاللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Allahumma anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa ant, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika ma istata't, a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana't, abu'u laka bi ni'matika 'alayya wa abu'u bi dhanbi, faghfir li, fa innahu la yaghfiru adh-dhunuba illa ant
“O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I abide by Your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins but You. (Whoever recites this with firm belief in the morning and dies that day will be among the people of Paradise.)”
03Refuge before reciting / entering the mosque
Abu Dawudأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ، وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ، وَسُلْطَانِهِ الْقَدِيمِ، مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ
A'udhu billahi al-'Adheem, wa bi wajhihi al-Kareem, wa sultanihi al-Qadeem, min ash-shaytani-r-rajeem. Bismillah, was-salatu was-salamu 'ala rasulillah
“I seek refuge in Allah the Almighty, and in His Noble Face, and in His Eternal Authority, from the accursed Satan. In the name of Allah, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah.”
04Refuge from Shaytan's whispers, breath, and poetry
Abu Dawudأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ، مِنْ هَمْزِهِ وَنَفْخِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ
A'udhu billahi min ash-shaytani-r-rajeem, min hamzihi wa nafkhihi wa nafthih
“I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan — from his whispering, his arrogance, and his evil poetry.”
05Refuge from evil manners, actions, and desires
Tirmidhiاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ مُنْكَرَاتِ الْأَخْلَاقِ، وَالْأَعْمَالِ، وَالْأَهْوَاءِ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min munkarati-l-akhlaqi wa-l-a'mali wa-l-ahwa'
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from evil manners, evil actions, and evil desires.”
06Submission and reliance upon Allah
Bukhari & Muslimاللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّتِكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَنْ تُضِلَّنِي، أَنْتَ الْحَيُّ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ، وَالْجِنُّ وَالْإِنْسُ يَمُوتُونَ
Allahumma laka aslamtu, wa bika amantu, wa 'alayka tawakkaltu, wa ilayka anabtu, wa bika khasamtu. Allahumma inni a'udhu bi 'izzatika la ilaha illa anta an tudillani. Anta al-Hayy alladhi la yamutu, wal-jinnu wal-insu yamutun
“O Allah, to You I have submitted, in You I have believed, upon You I have relied, to You I have turned, and through You I have argued. O Allah, I seek refuge in Your might — there is no god but You — lest You let me go astray. You are the Ever-Living who never dies, while jinn and mankind die.”
07Refuge from shirk known and unknown
Ahmadاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لَا أَعْلَمُ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika an ushrika bika wa ana a'lam, wa astaghfiruka lima la a'lam
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from associating partners with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do unknowingly.”
08The Four Refuges (in tashahhud, before salam)
Bukhari & Muslimاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'adhabi jahannam, wa min 'adhabi-l-qabr, wa min fitnati-l-mahya wa-l-mamat, wa min sharri fitnati-l-masihi-d-dajjal
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hellfire, from the punishment of the grave, from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the False Messiah.”
09Refuge of the Lord of Jibril, Mika'il, and Israfil
Nasa'iاللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ جِبْرَائِيلَ وَمِيكَائِيلَ وَإِسْرَافِيلَ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ حَرِّ النَّارِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ
Allahumma Rabba Jibra'ila wa Mika'ila wa Israfil, a'udhu bika min harri-n-nari wa 'adhabi-l-qabr
“O Allah, Lord of Jibril, Mika'il, and Israfil, I seek refuge in You from the heat of the Fire and the punishment of the grave.”
10Du'a of Allah's Greatest Name
Abu Dawud, Tirmidhiاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، الْأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ، الَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
Allahumma inni as'aluka bi anni ashhadu annaka anta-Llah, la ilaha illa anta, al-Ahadu-s-Samad, alladhi lam yalid wa lam yulad, wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad
“O Allah, I ask You by virtue of my testifying that You are Allah, there is no deity except You, the One, the Self-Sufficient Master, who has not begotten, and has not been begotten, and to Whom no one is equal.”
11Refuge from useless knowledge and unanswered du'a
Muslimاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ، وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ، وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ، وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لَا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'ilmin la yanfa', wa min qalbin la yakhsha', wa min nafsin la tashba', wa min da'watin la yustajabu laha
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, from a heart that does not have awe of You, from a soul that is never satisfied, and from a supplication that is not answered.”
12La ilaha illa-Llah, wahdahu la sharika lah (×11)
Tirmidhiلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
La ilaha illa-Llahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahu-l-mulku wa lahu-l-hamd, yuhyi wa yumitu wa huwa hayyun la yamut, bi yadihi-l-khayr, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir
“There is no deity except Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is Ever-Living and never dies. In His Hand is all good, and He has power over everything. (Recite 11 times.)”
13A'udhu bi kalimati-Llahi-t-tammat (×3)
Muslimأَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
A'udhu bi kalimati-Llahi-t-tammati min sharri ma khalaq
“I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created. (Recite 3 times.)”
14Asking for guidance, piety, chastity, self-sufficiency
Muslimاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى
Allahumma inni as'aluka-l-huda wa-t-tuqa wa-l-'afafa wa-l-ghina
“O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency.”
15Protection for children (Prophet's du'a for Hasan and Husayn)
Bukhariأُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ
U'idhukuma bi kalimati-Llahi-t-tammati min kulli shaytanin wa hammah, wa min kulli 'aynin lammah
“I seek protection for you both in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every poisonous reptile, and from every evil, harmful eye.”
16Asking for the best of everything
Hakimاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ الْمَسْأَلَةِ، وَخَيْرَ الدُّعَاءِ، وَخَيْرَ النَّجَاحِ، وَخَيْرَ الْعِلْمِ، وَخَيْرَ الْعَمَلِ، وَخَيْرَ الثَّوَابِ، وَخَيْرَ الْحَيَاةِ، وَخَيْرَ الْمَمَاتِ
Allahumma inni as'aluka khayra-l-mas'ala, wa khayra-d-du'a', wa khayra-n-najah, wa khayra-l-'ilm, wa khayra-l-'amal, wa khayra-th-thawab, wa khayra-l-hayat, wa khayra-l-mamat
“O Allah, I ask You for the best of requests, the best of supplications, the best of success, the best of knowledge, the best of deeds, the best of rewards, the best of life, and the best of death.”
17Du'a for the sick
Bukhariاللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ، اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
Allahumma Rabba-n-nas, adhhibi-l-ba's, ishfi anta-sh-Shafi, la shifa'a illa shifa'uk, shifa'an la yughadiru saqama
“O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the hardship, grant cure, for You are the Healer. There is no cure except Your cure, a cure that leaves no disease behind.”
18Bismi-Llahi-lladhi la yadurr ma'asmihi shay' (×3, morning & evening)
Abu Dawud, Tirmidhiبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Bismi-Llahi-lladhi la yadurru ma'asmihi shay'un fi-l-ardi wa la fi-s-sama'i wa huwa-s-Sami'u-l-'Alim
“In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing can cause harm on earth or in heaven, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. (Recite 3 times morning and evening for protection from harm.)”
19The major Istighfar
Abu Dawud, Tirmidhiأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيَّ الْقَيُّومَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
Astaghfiru-Llaha-l-'Adheem, alladhi la ilaha illa huwa-l-Hayyu-l-Qayyum, wa atubu ilayh
“I seek the forgiveness of Allah the Almighty, whom there is none worthy of worship except Him, the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining, and I repent to Him.”
20Du'a when leaving home — refuge from going astray and from injustice
Abu Dawud, Tirmidhiاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِلَّ أَوْ أُضَلَّ، أَوْ أَزِلَّ أَوْ أُزَلَّ، أَوْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ، أَوْ أَجْهَلَ أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عَلَيَّ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika an adilla aw udall, aw azilla aw uzall, aw azlima aw uzlam, aw ajhala aw yujhala 'alayy
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from going astray or being led astray, from slipping or being caused to slip, from wronging others or being wronged, from behaving ignorantly or being treated ignorantly.”
21Du'a for distress — Qur'an as the springtime of the heart
Ahmadاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ، ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ، ابْنُ أَمَتِكَ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي، وَجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي
Allahumma inni 'abduk, ibnu 'abdik, ibnu amatik, nasiyati bi yadik, madin fiyya hukmuk, 'adlun fiyya qada'uk, as'aluka bi kulli ismin huwa lak, sammayta bihi nafsak, aw anzaltahu fi kitabik, aw 'allamtahu ahadan min khalqik, aw ista'tharta bihi fi 'ilmi-l-ghaybi 'indak, an taj'ala-l-Qur'ana rabi'a qalbi, wa nura sadri, wa jala'a huzni, wa dhahaba hammi
“O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command concerning me prevails, and Your decree concerning me is just. I call upon You by every name belonging to You by which You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught to any of Your creation, or kept hidden in the knowledge of the unseen with You — to make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the dispeller of my sadness, and the remover of my anxiety.”
22Du'a of Yunus (×3)
Qur'an 21:87لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu mina-z-zalimin
“There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers. (Recite 3 times.)”
23Du'a of Ibrahim — for prayer and righteous offspring
Qur'an 14:40رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ
Rabbi-j'alni muqima-s-salati wa min dhurriyyati, Rabbana wa taqabbal du'a'
“My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and many from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication.”
24Subhanallahi wa bi hamdihi 'adada khalqih (×3)
Muslimسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ، وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ، وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ، وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ
Subhana-Llahi wa bi hamdih, 'adada khalqih, wa rida nafsih, wa zinata 'arshih, wa midada kalimatih
“Glory and praise be to Allah, equal to the number of His creation, equal to His pleasure, equal to the weight of His Throne, and equal to the ink (used in recording) His words. (Recite 3 times.)”
25Du'a of Nuh — forgiveness for self, parents, and household
Qur'an 71:28رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَنْ دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًا
Rabbi-ghfir li wa li walidayya wa li man dakhala baytiya mu'minan wa li-l-mu'minina wa-l-mu'minati wa la tazidi-z-zalimina illa tabara
“My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house as a believer, and all believing men and believing women, and do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction.”
26Forgiveness for the believers who came before
Qur'an 59:10رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ
Rabbana-ghfir lana wa li ikhwanina-lladhina sabaqoona bi-l-iman wa la taj'al fi qulubina ghillan li-lladhina amanoo Rabbana innaka Ra'ufun Rahim
“Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and put not in our hearts any resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed, You are Kind and Merciful.”
27Last verse of Surah al-Baqarah
Qur'an 2:286رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا، رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا، رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ، وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا، أَنْتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Rabbana la tu'akhidhna in nasina aw akhta'na. Rabbana wa la tahmil 'alayna isran kama hamaltahu 'ala-lladhina min qablina. Rabbana wa la tuhammilna ma la taqata lana bih, wa-'fu 'anna, wa-ghfir lana, wa-rhamna. Anta mawlana fa-nsurna 'ala-l-qawmi-l-kafirin
“Our Lord, do not hold us accountable if we forget or err. Our Lord, lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.”
28Asking for beneficial knowledge, good provision, accepted deeds (×3)
Ibn Majahاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbala
“O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure and halal provision, and accepted righteous deeds. (Recite 3 times.)”
29Reflection: You did not create this in vain
Qur'an 3:191رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana ma khalaqta hadha batila, subhanaka fa qina 'adhaba-n-nar
“Our Lord, You have not created this in vain. Glory be to You! Protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”
30Forgive and have mercy — best of those who show mercy
Qur'an 23:118رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Rabbi-ghfir wa-rham wa anta khayru-r-rahimin
“My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of those who show mercy.”
31Rabbana atina fi-d-dunya hasana (the comprehensive du'a)
Qur'an 2:201رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fi-d-dunya hasana, wa fi-l-akhirati hasana, wa qina 'adhaba-n-nar
“Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”
32Allahumma a'inni 'ala dhikrika wa shukrika (×3)
Abu Dawud, Nasa'iاللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
Allahumma a'inni 'ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni 'ibadatik
“O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best manner. (Recite 3 times — taught by the Prophet ﷺ to Mu'adh after every prayer.)”
33Allahumma ajirni mina-n-nar (×7)
Abu Dawudاللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ
Allahumma ajirni mina-n-nar
“O Allah, protect me from the Fire (Hellfire). (Recite 7 times after Fajr and Maghrib.)”
34Asking from Allah's bounty and mercy (×3)
Tabaraniاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَمْلِكُهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlika wa rahmatik, fa innahu la yamlikuha illa ant
“O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty and Your mercy, for no one possesses them but You. (Recite 3 times.)”
35Du'a between the two sajdahs
Abu Dawudاللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي وَاهْدِنِي وَاجْبُرْنِي وَعَافِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي وَارْفَعْنِي وَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Allahumma-ghfir li, wa-rhamni, wa-hdini, wa-jburni, wa 'afini, wa-rzuqni, wa-rfa'ni, wa-'fu 'anni
“O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, support me, protect me, provide for me, elevate me, and pardon me.”
36Du'a of Musa — in need of any good
Qur'an 28:24رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqir
“My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.”
37Du'a of Sulayman (×3)
Qur'an 38:35رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَهَبْ لِي مُلْكًا لَا يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِي إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Rabbi-ghfir li wa hab li mulkan la yanbaghi li ahadin min ba'di innaka anta-l-Wahhab

38Allahumma faqqihni fi-d-deen
Bukhari (Prophet's du'a for Ibn Abbas)اللَّهُمَّ فَقِّهْنِي فِي الدِّينِ
Allahumma faqqihni fi-d-deen
“O Allah, grant me deep understanding of the religion.”

40Increase in family, wealth, and barakah
Bukhari (Anas's mother's du'a)اللَّهُمَّ أَكْثِرْ مَالِي وَوَلَدِي، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَنِي
Allahumma akthir mali wa waladi, wa barik li fima a'taytani
“O Allah, make my children and wealth abundant, and shower Your blessings on everything You have given me.”

Qur'an 23:97-98رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ

Rabbi-rhamhuma kama rabbayani saghira

49Allahumma innaka 'Afuwwun (Laylat al-Qadr du'a)
Tirmidhiاللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Allahumma innaka 'Afuwwun, tuhibbu-l-'afwa, fa'fu 'anni
“O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning, You love pardon, so pardon me.”

Qur'an 14:41رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
Rabbana-ghfir li wa li walidayya wa li-l-mu'minina yawma yaqumu-l-hisab
“Our Lord, forgive me, my parents, and the believers on the Day when the account will be established.”
51Refuge from anxiety, debt, and helplessness
Bukhariاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika mina-l-hammi wa-l-hazan, wa-l-'ajzi wa-l-kasal, wa-l-bukhli wa-l-jubn, wa dala'i-d-dayn wa ghalabati-r-rijal
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, and from the burden of debt and being overpowered by men.”
52Du'a for ease in difficulty
Ibn Hibbanاللَّهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلًا، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلًا
Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja'altahu sahla, wa anta taj'alu-l-hazna idha shi'ta sahla
“O Allah, nothing is easy except what You make easy, and You make the difficult easy if You wish.”
53Steadfastness on guidance
Qur'an 3:8رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Rabbana la tuzigh qulubana ba'da idh hadaytana wa hab lana min ladunka rahmah, innaka anta-l-Wahhab
“Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.”
54Gratitude for Allah's favor
Qur'an 27:19, 46:15رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ
Rabbi awzi'ni an ashkura ni'mataka-llati an'amta 'alayya wa 'ala walidayya wa an a'mala salihan tardah
“My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do righteousness of which You will approve.”
55For the understanding of prophets and memory of messengers
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ فَهْمَ النَّبِيِّينَ، وَحِفْظَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ، وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ، بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Allahumma inni as'aluka fahma-n-nabiyyin, wa hifza-l-mursalin, wa-l-mala'ikati-l-muqarrabin, bi rahmatika ya Arhama-r-Rahimin
“O Allah, I ask You for the understanding of the prophets, the memory of the messengers, and (the rank of) the closest angels — by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.”
56Sufficiency through halal, independence through Allah's bounty
Tirmidhiاللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Allahumma-kfini bi halalika 'an haramik, wa aghnini bi fadlika 'amman siwak
“O Allah, suffice me with what You have allowed instead of what You have forbidden, and make me independent of all others through Your bounty.”
57Asking for Allah's love and the love of those who love Him
Tirmidhiاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ، وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ، وَحُبَّ عَمَلٍ يُقَرِّبُنِي إِلَى حُبِّكَ
Allahumma inni as'aluka hubbak, wa hubba man yuhibbuk, wa hubba 'amalin yuqarribuni ila hubbik
“O Allah, I ask You for Your love, the love of those who love You, and the love of every deed that brings me closer to Your love.”
58Allahumma inni as'aluka-l-jannah (×3)
Abu Dawudاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ
Allahumma inni as'aluka-l-jannah, wa a'udhu bika mina-n-nar
“O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and seek refuge in You from the Fire. (Recite 3 times.)”
59Subbuhun Quddusun (in ruku' and sujud)

“Glory and Holiness are Yours, Lord of the angels and the Spirit (Jibril).”

Qur'an 2:285-286آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ رَبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۚ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِنْ رُسُلِهِ ۚ وَقَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ ﴿٢٨٥﴾ لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ ۗ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۚ أَنْتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ ﴿٢٨٦﴾
Amana-r-Rasulu bima unzila ilayhi min Rabbihi wa-l-mu'minun. Kullun amana bi-Llahi wa mala'ikatihi wa kutubihi wa rusulih, la nufarriqu bayna ahadin min rusulih, wa qaloo sami'na wa ata'na, ghufranaka Rabbana wa ilayka-l-masir. La yukallifu-Llahu nafsan illa wus'aha…
“The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and so have the believers. All of them have believed in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers — saying 'We make no distinction between any of His messengers' and 'We hear and we obey. Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the final destination.' Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity… (Qur'an 2:285-286, full text in Arabic above.)”
61Morning gratitude — every blessing is from Allah alone
Abu Dawudاللَّهُمَّ مَا أَصْبَحَ بِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ أَوْ بِأَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ
Allahumma ma asbaha bi min ni'matin aw bi ahadin min khalqika fa minka wahdaka la sharika lak, fa laka-l-hamdu wa laka-sh-shukr
“O Allah, whatever blessing has come to me or to any of Your creation this morning is from You alone, without partner — so to You is all praise and all thanks. (Replace أَصْبَحَ with أَمْسَى for the evening.)”
62Allahumma bika asbahna (morning recognition of Allah's control)
Tirmidhi, Abu Dawudاللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ
Allahumma bika asbahna, wa bika amsayna, wa bika nahya, wa bika namutu, wa ilayka-n-nushur
“O Allah, by Your leave we have reached the morning, by Your leave we will reach the evening, by Your leave we live, by Your leave we die, and to You is the resurrection.”
63Forgive my sin, remove anger, protect from Shaytan
Ahmadاللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي، وَأَذْهِبْ غَيْظَ قَلْبِي، وَأَجِرْنِي مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ
Allahumma-ghfir li dhanbi, wa adhhib ghayza qalbi, wa ajirni mina-sh-shaytan
“O Allah, forgive my sin, remove the anger from my heart, and protect me from Satan.”
64Du'a for righteous spouse and offspring
Qur'an 25:74رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wa dhurriyyatina qurrata a'yun, wa-j'alna li-l-muttaqina imama
“Our Lord, grant us from among our spouses and offspring comfort to our eyes, and make us an example for the righteous.”
65Refuge in Allah's pleasure, pardon, and from Him
Muslimاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ، وَبِمُعَافَاتِكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ، لَا أُحْصِي ثَنَاءً عَلَيْكَ، أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bi ridaka min sakhatik, wa bi mu'afatika min 'uqubatik, wa a'udhu bika minka, la uhsi thana'an 'alayk, anta kama athnayta 'ala nafsik
“O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your displeasure, in Your forgiveness from Your punishment, and in You from You. I cannot praise You enough; You are as You have praised Yourself.”
66Refuge from the loss of blessings
Muslimاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ، وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ، وَفُجَاءَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ، وَجَمِيعِ سَخَطِكَ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatik, wa fuja'ati niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhatik
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the decline of Your favor, the loss of well-being, the suddenness of Your punishment, and all forms of Your wrath.”
67Blessings on family, unity in good
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِي أَهْلِي، وَبَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِيَّ. اللَّهُمَّ اجْمَعْ بَيْنَنَا مَا جَمَعْتَ بِخَيْرٍ، وَفَرِّقْ بَيْنَنَا إِذَا فَرَّقْتَ إِلَى خَيْرٍ
Allahumma barik li fi ahli, wa barik lahum fiyya. Allahumma-jma' baynana ma jama'ta bi khayr, wa farriq baynana idha farraqta ila khayr
“O Allah, bless my family for me and bless me for them. O Allah, unite us in goodness as long as You unite us, and when You separate us, separate us to goodness.”
68Surah al-Kawthar (×10)
Qur'an 108بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ ﴿١﴾ فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ ﴿٢﴾ إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ ﴿٣﴾
Inna a'taynaka-l-Kawthar. Fa salli li Rabbika wa-nhar. Inna shani'aka huwa-l-abtar.
“Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], al-Kawthar. So pray to your Lord and sacrifice. Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off. (Recite 10 times.)”
69Surah al-Fatiha (×34)
Qur'an 1بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ﴿٢﴾ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ﴿٣﴾ مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ ﴿٤﴾ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ﴿٥﴾ اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ ﴿٦﴾ صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ ﴿٧﴾
Bismi-Llahi-r-Rahmani-r-Rahim. Al-hamdu li-Llahi Rabbi-l-'alamin. Ar-Rahmani-r-Rahim. Maliki yawmi-d-din. Iyyaka na'budu wa iyyaka nasta'in. Ihdina-s-sirata-l-mustaqim. Sirata-lladhina an'amta 'alayhim ghayri-l-maghdubi 'alayhim wa la-d-dallin.
“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us to the Straight Path — the path of those You have blessed, not of those who earned anger, nor of those who went astray. (Recite 34 times.)”
يَا رَزَّاقُ
Ya Razzaq
“O All-Provider. (Recite 11 times — calling upon Allah by His name 'The Provider'.)”
يَا وَهَّابُ
Ya Wahhab
“O Bestower. (Recite 11 times — calling upon Allah by His name 'The Bestower'.)”
72Alhamdulillahi Rabbi-l-'alamin (×11)
Qur'an 1:2الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Al-hamdu li-Llahi Rabbi-l-'alamin

Ibn Majahاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ بِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اسْتَعَاذَ بِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ
Allahumma inni as'aluka min khayri ma sa'alaka bihi 'abduka wa nabiyyuk, wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma-sta'adha bihi 'abduka wa nabiyyuk. Allahumma inni as'aluka-l-jannah wa ma qarraba ilayha min qawlin aw 'amal, wa a'udhu bika mina-n-nari wa ma qarraba ilayha min qawlin aw 'amal
“O Allah, I ask You for the best of what Your servant and prophet asked of You, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of what Your servant and prophet sought refuge from. O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and whatever word or deed brings me near it, and I seek refuge in You from the Fire and whatever word or deed brings me near it.”
74All goodness, present and future — known and unknown
Ibn Majahاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ، عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ، عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ
Allahumma inni as'aluka mina-l-khayri kullihi 'ajilihi wa ajilih, ma 'alimtu minhu wa ma lam a'lam, wa a'udhu bika mina-sh-sharri kullihi 'ajilihi wa ajilih, ma 'alimtu minhu wa ma lam a'lam
“O Allah, I ask You for all goodness — that of the present and the future, what I know and what I do not know — and I seek refuge in You from all evil — that of the present and the future, what I know and what I do not know.”
75Surah an-Nas (×3)
Qur'an 114بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ﴿١﴾ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ﴿٢﴾ إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ ﴿٣﴾ مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ﴿٤﴾ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ﴿٥﴾ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ ﴿٦﴾
Qul a'udhu bi Rabbi-n-nas. Maliki-n-nas. Ilahi-n-nas. Min sharri-l-waswasi-l-khannas. Alladhi yuwaswisu fi sudurin-nas. Mina-l-jinnati wa-n-nas.
“Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer who whispers in the breasts of mankind — from among jinn and mankind. (Recite 3 times morning and evening.)”
76Surah al-Falaq (×3)
Qur'an 113بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ﴿١﴾ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ﴿٢﴾ وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ﴿٣﴾ وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ ﴿٤﴾ وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ﴿٥﴾
Qul a'udhu bi Rabbi-l-falaq. Min sharri ma khalaq. Wa min sharri ghasiqin idha waqab. Wa min sharri-n-naffathati fi-l-'uqad. Wa min sharri hasidin idha hasad.
“Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of what He has created, from the evil of darkness when it gathers, from the evil of those who blow on knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies. (Recite 3 times morning and evening.)”

Qur'an 2:255اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
Allahu la ilaha illa huwa-l-Hayyu-l-Qayyum. La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm. Lahu ma fi-s-samawati wa ma fi-l-ard. Man dha-lladhi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi idhnih. Ya'lamu ma bayna aydihim wa ma khalfahum, wa la yuhituna bi shay'in min 'ilmihi illa bima sha'. Wasi'a kursiyyuhu-s-samawati wa-l-ard, wa la ya'uduhu hifzuhuma, wa huwa-l-'Aliyyu-l-'Adheem.
“Allah — there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. He is the Most High, the Most Great. (Recite 3 times.)”
78Surah al-Ikhlas (×3)
Qur'an 112بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ﴿١﴾ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ ﴿٢﴾ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ ﴿٣﴾ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ ﴿٤﴾
Qul huwa-Llahu ahad. Allahu-s-Samad. Lam yalid wa lam yulad. Wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad.
“Say: He is Allah, the One. Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent. (Recite 3 times morning and evening.)”

Bukhariاللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ. اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala ali Muhammad, kama sallayta 'ala Ibrahima wa 'ala ali Ibrahim, innaka Hamidun Majid. Allahumma barik 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala ali Muhammad, kama barakta 'ala Ibrahima wa 'ala ali Ibrahim, innaka Hamidun Majid
“O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.”
